Brent, ULSD and natural gas are public futures quotes. ULSD is a distillate proxy read on the direction of marine gas oil — it is not a VLSFO or IFO380 bunker price, and it is labelled as a proxy. A real bunker assessment requires a subscription (Ship & Bunker, S&P Global Platts, Bunkerworld), so we publish the proxy and name the gap rather than invent a delivered bunker number.

Nothing here is a rate index; container and bunker indices are subscription-only and are listed below. The scrolling tape at the top of every page carries the same quotes; its speed slider is yours to set.

A delivered bunker price and a container spot rate are the two numbers this industry most wants and the two least available for free. We could print a plausible figure; we would rather print nothing.
